VCC grouping feature

The VCC grouping feature allows adjusting the parameters of several VCC instances at the same time.

To activate the grouping feature on a VCC plugin instance

  • Click on the Group switch at the bottom of the plugin
  • Open the grouping panel by clicking on the bottom arrow if it's not already open
  • Assign the current plugin instance to one of the 8 available groups by clicking on one of the green Assign buttons
  • Edit the parameters of one of the groups by clicking on the red Edit buttons. This way, you can edit each group without modifying the current channel assigned group
  • Open the Track list panel if it's not already open by clicking on the bottom arrow in the grouping panel
  • You can rename the current track and the edited group in this panel. The list of the assigned tracks to the currently edited group is also displayed.

If the Group switch of the current plugin instance is activated, the plugin Console parameter is the same as the group one, the group Input value is added to the current channel Input value, and the group Drive value is added to the current channel Drive value. The resulting Input and Drive values of the current channel will be displayed on the final version.

The plugin Console selection knob is greyed out to show that the console is selected via the assigned group and is not the displayed one on the main plugin interface.

Here are some videos to help you out with the grouping feature in VCC. If you do not see a video for your specific DAW please let us know and we can make one and add to the list.

1.0.6 Bug Fixes:
- OSX 10.5 Compatibility (MixBuss Validation/ Crashes).
- OSX 10.5 Font Display Issue. - Some Settings problems (strange Oversampling configuration display - sync between setting used & setting displayed).

Accessing iLok.com:
- There are issues accessing iLok.com with Google Chrome and Firefox 4B. We recommend using Safari or Internet Explorer to access iLok.com.

Digital Performer Users:
-There is a known bug which makes the Group Module appear as a blank window upon clicking the Group On switch. We believe this to be a conflict between the VCC Plugin and the (42086) build of Motu's "MAS AudioSupport.bundle" file. Many users have fixed this bug by replacing this file with an older build. If you choose to do so, we recommend that you make a copy of the original file. We are working on a fix to make the VCC compatible with both versions of the MAS AudioSupport.bundle.

You can check the version of this file by going to:
Library/Audio/Plugins/MAS/

Ctr+Click the file "MAS AudioSupport.bundle" and Get Info.

The VCC should work properly with MAS AudioSupport.bundle Version 1.7.0, (35805). The above bug is present with MAS AudioSupport.bundle Version 1.7.0 (42086)

Sonar 8.5 Users:
- We recommend installing the VCC plugins in the 64bit OS Folder system. Sonar 8.5's bit bridge system will allow any 32bit plugin to run in a 64bit environment.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

VCC 1.0.5
